  • New Karez: Negative Pressure Irrigation System

New Karez is a porous ceramic tube applied in irrigation system. In an old Greek language, Karez means underground water. Nowadays, it is generally referred to the underground water galleries in the dry zone of Middle East. New Karez ensures a minimum necessary water supply to the plants for its absorption and autonomous growth without withering, instead of arbitrary water supply by people. That is not only highly effective at water -saving, but also widely applicable in greenhouse farming, green roof and balcony gardening, etc..

In a Japanese agriculture magazine ‘Modern Agriculture’, Farmer Kimura in Tochigi shared his insight on New Karez: ‘ “Rearing water should not be appreciated as water arbitrarily supplied by people, but rather the water absorbed by the plant when it wants…” Generally speaking, sugar content of muskmelon specie ’ Hajinredo’ is 15 degrees, but it is up to 16-17 degrees regardless of the size and whichever part of the muskmelon planted by Kimura.

  • Air Wing: Ceramic Air Bubble Generator
