SuiSui is a self-watering planter that enables you to relax and enjoy planting anywhere. It is made of the exquisite Imari white porcelain of Japan. By the originally-designed ‘SuiSui’ rod, water can be absorbed up to the plant for staying alive even you are out of town.
Just place a water container at the planter bottom, insert the ceramic ‘SuiSui’ rod in between. As long as the rod is in touch with water, the plant is free from watering. An easy watering solution!
SuiSui is highly compatible with any types of water container made of glass, ceramics, metal, plastics and especially glass. Its specially-designed body curve fits container between 80mm and 105mm in diameter at the rim. Containers of whatever kind are interchangeable! Functional and playful! An innovative gift selection.

Watering Tips: While the water-absorbing rod is immersed in water, watering is unnecessary. Easy watering solution is the characteristic of SuiSui. The amount absorbed is not related to how far the water reaches the rod. Avoid the planter body from being immersed in water.
Location of placing: Green leaf plants are mainly tropical and sub-tropical, water-absorbing and weak to direct sunlight. In summer, plants should be placed nearby window with lace curtain. But in winter, due to the short duration and small amount of sunlight, plants can be placed near window with direct sunlight passing through. Plants should be protected from coldness but over -protection by heating can cause adverse effects. Direct exposure to heat should be avoided. Big temperature gap can result in leaf color-changing and falling.
Fertilizer: should be added only if the plant is growing, which happens mostly between early spring and autumn. In Winter, plant metabolism virtually comes to a standstill due to low temperature, no fertilizer should be added.
